He emphasized the importance of media in a thriving democracy, acknowledging its influence on society and its role as a bridge between the people and the government.
The Chief Minister highlighted the evolving media landscape, encompassing print, electronic, social, and digital platforms, each with its own set of followers. He emphasized the significance of truth as the foundation of media and how it shapes public perception and informs government policies.
Focusing on the transformation of Uttar Pradesh from ‘Rising UP’ to ‘Shining UP’, Yogi Adityanath pointed out the positive changes in the state over the past decade. He mentioned improved security, infrastructure development, and the government’s focus on welfare schemes without discrimination. The Chief Minister also highlighted the state’s progress in various sectors, such as education, healthcare, and investment climate.
From reducing instances of riots and curfews to promoting initiatives like the PM SVANidhi scheme for street vendors, Uttar Pradesh has witnessed significant improvements under his leadership. Yogi Adityanath emphasized the state’s transition from a laggard to a leader in the country’s development landscape since 2017.
He also noted the state’s infrastructure achievements, such as the increase in expressways and airports, positioning Uttar Pradesh as a hub for tourism and economic growth. With a focus on inclusive development, the Chief Minister highlighted the implementation of various schemes benefiting different sections of society and propelling Uttar Pradesh towards becoming a key driver of India’s economy.
