The Delhi Traffic police have issued an advisory to ensure smooth flow of vehicles in the NCR area ahead of the scheduled farmers’ protest on February 13. The advisory states that traffic restrictions and diversions will be imposed at Singhu border from February 12 for commercial vehicles and from February 13 for all types of vehicles. In addition, interstate buses and heavy goods vehicles intending to go towards Panipat, Karnal, and other areas via NH-44 have been given alternative routes to follow. Vehicles heading to Ghaziabad through Gazipur border have also been instructed to take different routes. Similarly, diversions have been implemented around the Tikri border area for heavy and commercial vehicles going towards Bahadurgarh, Rohtak, and other destinations via Rohtak Road. The advisory urges commuters to plan their journeys accordingly and avoid the affected borders.
