Bikaner, Rajasthan: The Bikaner district Congress Committee will hold a silent protest on January 23 in protest against the BJP’s attacks on Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra.
The Congress party has accused the BJP of deliberately disrupting Rahul Gandhi’s Yatra in an attempt to suppress the BJP government’s misdeeds in Assam and the central BJP government’s failures.
The protest will be held from 11 am to 2 pm at Gandhi Park in front of the statue of Mahatma Gandhi at the Circuit House.
District Congress Organization General Secretary Nitin Vatss said that senior Congress leaders, district Congress office-bearers, PCC members, state office-bearers, block presidents, councilors, candidates for councilors, sarpanchs, candidates for sarpanchs, district council members, Mahila Congress, Youth Congress, Sevadal, NSUI, INTUC, and all departments and cells of the Congress party will participate in the silent protest.
The protest is being held to condemn the BJP’s attacks on Rahul Gandhi and to demand that the BJP government stop its misdeeds.
