In preparation for the forthcoming Budget Session of 2024, aimed at streamlining the online submission process for queries posed by newly elected Honorable MLAs of the Chhattisgarh Vidhan Sabha during the Question Hour, a training session was diligently arranged. Held on January 8, 2024, within the main committee chamber of the Vidhan Sabha, the session received technical backing from NIC Raipur.
The training initiative provided comprehensive insights into both the theoretical and practical aspects concerning the online submission of queries. Newly elected MLAs actively participated in this educational endeavor via NIC video conferencing.
Presiding over the session was the esteemed Secretary of the Vidhan Sabha, Shri Dinesh Sharma. He underscored the Vidhan Sabha Secretariat’s transition towards paperless operations, a concerted effort endorsed by the Honorable Speaker for the convenience of newly elected members, thus emphasizing its environmental significance in the ongoing proceedings of the sixth Vidhan Sabha.
The Secretary to the Legislative Assembly, Shri Dinesh Sharma, led the session, which witnessed the presence of Honorable MLAs and their aides. An innovative web application designed to facilitate online query submissions received commendation, guided by Sh. Tej Narayan Singh, SIO, NIC, with invaluable assistance from officers of NIC’s Madhya Pradesh state unit. The session also benefited from the expertise of NIC team members including Shri Pradeep Mishra, Senior Technical Director, Shri Saurabh Dubey, Scientist D, and Smt. Jyoti Sharma, Scientist C, among others, all contributing to the successful training endeavor.
