Under the Artisan identity card scheme, such handicraftsmen or craftsmen of rural and urban areas of the district who are hand-embroidered, crochet items, artistic schools, zari and zari items, jewellery, floor carpets, wooden carvings, woodwares, lac bangles and lac Manufactures various products related to kundan work, bandhej work, leather (footware), stone carving, tie and dye/dye printing work, painting and other handicrafts/handicrafts. Free identity cards will be issued to them by the District Industries Center.
Manju Nain Godara, General Manager, District Industries Center said that the applicant will have to apply in the office with passport size photo, photocopy of Aadhar card, photo copy of advance page of bank passbook and photo copy of Artisan identity card issued earlier.
