Former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s party, currently in jail, has formed special committees to strategize the formation of the government in the Centre, Punjab, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces. These committees will work towards completing the nomination process for important government and parliamentary positions based on the recommendations and strategies proposed. The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is planning to establish its government in these regions after independent candidates endorsed by the party won 101 seats in the National Assembly out of the total 266 seats. The party had to support these candidates as independents due to controversies surrounding their election symbol. The PTI’s core committee stated that specialized committees have been formed to devise strategies for government formation in these crucial regions. These committees are focused on expediting the nomination process for key governmental and parliamentary roles based on their proposed recommendations and strategies. The PTI is committed to preventing any unethical efforts to hand over the country’s leadership to individuals with criminal backgrounds. The party believes that the people have given a strong mandate to their founding chairman, Imran Khan, as a testament to his patriotism. Additionally, PTI leaders met with President Dr. Arif Alvi to discuss alleged irregularities during the elections. They informed the president that Form-45, issued in various constituencies, accurately reflected the election outcomes. Despite facing pressure, symbol snatching, and numerous arrests, the PTI emerged victorious. The party claims that they were leading with 170 National Assembly seats before alleged rigging favored the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) party. Approximately 47% of the total voters cast their ballots to elect a new government and address Pakistan’s financial crisis.
