- has knowledge of his true nature, power to bear suffering and remain stable in performing his duties
- possesses virtues like adopting good deeds and staying away from bad deeds, as well as having faith in God and being a devotee
- is one who does not deviate from the path of pursharth (selfless labour and effort) when faced with anger, joy, pride, shame, arrogance, and considering oneself to be worthy of worship
- The person whose duties, advice and decisions taken are known to others only after the work is done
- is a person whose work and actions are not blocked or even interrupted by cold or heat, fear or affection, wealth or poverty
- is a person whose decision and intellect follows Dharma (duty) and who renounces pleasures and chooses to make effort
- works according to his competence and fulfills his duty and does not disregard anything considering it insignificant.
- understands a subject quickly, listens patiently about that subject, and completes his work not out of desire but out of wisdom
- does not talk in vain about anyone without being asked
- does not wish for rare things, nor does he grieve over what is lost and does not panic even in times of adversity
- starts the work by making the outline, never stops in middle of the work, does not waste time and keeps his mind under control
- is always interested in noble deeds, and keep working and striving for progress
- does not bring out the demerits of those who (are trying) do good
- does not get overjoyed when he receives respect and honor, and nor does he sulk on being insulted or humiliated
- talks fearlessly, can talk well on many subjects, is skilled in reasoning, and can understand the things written in the scriptures quickly
