Rajasthan’s Minister of Central Jal Shakti, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, attended the 13th convocation ceremony at Jaipur National University on Saturday, February 10. During his address to the students, Shekhawat emphasized that education is a lifelong process and should be embraced continuously. He also highlighted India’s progress in various fields, such as sports, art, culture, knowledge, and science, and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to live and work in India at this time.
Shekhawat further mentioned the changing landscape of the country and the ease of starting startups in today’s environment. He commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government for fostering a startup ecosystem that has resulted in more than 110 unicorns in India. Shekhawat addressed the graduating students and emphasized that they have the privilege to contribute to the country’s development and be the agents of transformation.
The minister also discussed the importance of rights and duties as outlined in the Indian Constitution. He encouraged individuals to fulfill their responsibilities as citizens and contribute to the development of the nation. Shekhawat highlighted the concept of duty in Indian culture, whether as a citizen, student, family member, or parent, and urged everyone to fulfill their duties and uphold their rights.
