Jaipur: There will be a change in the weather in Rajasthan starting today. An intense western disturbance will become active on Friday, March 1, and its impact will be felt from today onwards. According to the Meteorological Department, strong winds will sweep through many districts of the state on Friday, with more than half of Rajasthan expected to experience rainfall. The Weather Center in Jaipur has issued a warning for rain, storms, and hailstorms. Specifically, on Friday, warnings have been issued for rain and hailstorms with strong thunderstorms in 6 out of 18 districts. Similarly, for Saturday, March 2, alerts have been issued for rain in 22 districts and hailstorms with strong storms in 10 districts.
Forecast for rain and hailstorms in these districts today
On Friday, March 1, rain warnings have been issued for Ajmer, Alwar, Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Dausa, Jaipur, Jhunjhunu, Sawai Madhopur, Sikar, Tonk Barmer, Bikaner, Churu, Hanumangarh, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Nagaur, and Sriganganagar. Among these, alerts have been issued for rain and hailstorms with strong thunderstorms in Sriganganagar, Bikaner, Churu, Hanumangarh, Jaisalmer, and Jhunjhunu. Winds are expected to reach speeds of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour in these 6 districts.
Potential drop in temperatures
Due to the predicted rain, hailstorms, and strong thunderstorms in more than half of Rajasthan, cold weather is expected to return to the state. Last week, except for two cities, the minimum temperature in all of Rajasthan was above 10 degrees Celsius. This is expected to decrease now. Many cities may experience a 3 to 4 degrees Celsius drop in both minimum and maximum temperatures on Friday.
