On February 13, farmer unions from Punjab, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh have organized a protest and plan to march towards Delhi. They are expected to take the NH44 route, starting from Ambala and heading towards Delhi. If you are traveling between Delhi-Chandigarh, Delhi-Punjab, or Haryana-Chandigarh on that day, here are the recommended routes:
1. From Delhi to Chandigarh: Take the route from Delhi to Sonipat, Panipat, Karnal, Indri, Ladwa (Kurukshetra), Umri Chowk, Ladwa, Radaur, Yamunangar on NH344A, Mulana, Shahzadpur, Barwala, Panchkula, and finally reach Chandigarh.
– Alternatively, you can turn from Kurukshetra to Shahbad, Saha, Shahzadpur, Panchkula, and then reach Chandigarh.
2. From Delhi to cities in Punjab (Patiala, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Amritsar, etc.): Travel from Delhi to Sonipat, Panipat, Karnal, Pipli Chowk, and take a left turn towards Kurukshetra city. Then, proceed to Pehowa, Cheeka, Patiala, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, and finally Amritsar.
3. From Punjab’s Amritsar, Jalandhar, Patiala, Ludhiana, etc. to Delhi: Start from Amritsar and travel to Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Cheeka, Pehowa, and then get on NH 152D to continue towards Delhi.
4. From Chandigarh to Delhi: Begin from Chandigarh and travel to Panchkula, Ramgarh, Barwala, Shahzadpur, Mulana, and get on NH 344 to reach Yamunanagar. From there, proceed to Radaur, Ladwa, Indri, Karnal, and finally reach Panipat, Sonipat, and Delhi.
– Another route option is to travel from Chandigarh to Panchkula, Ramgarh, Barwala, Shahzadpur, Saha, Shahbad, Pipli, Karnal, and get on NH 44 to reach Panipat, Sonipat, and Delhi.
5. From Hisar to Chandigarh: Take the route from Hisar to Barwala, Narvana, Kaithal, Cheeka, Patiala, and then reach Chandigarh. The same route can be taken for traveling from Chandigarh to Hisar.
6. From Narnaul or Rohtak to Chandigarh: Travel on NH 152D, reach Pehowa crossing, and then take the road to Cheeka, Patiala, and finally reach Chandigarh. The same route can be taken for traveling from Chandigarh to Narnaul or Rohtak.
7. From Ambala to Chandigarh: Start from Ambala city and go to Ambala cantonment. Then, proceed towards Capital Chowk and continue towards Saha, Shahzadpur, Ramgarh, Panchkula, and finally reach Chandigarh. The same route can be taken for traveling from Chandigarh to Ambala.
Please note that the above routes have been suggested for specific travel destinations and should be followed on February 13 due to the ongoing protest.
