The Rajasthan government is sending 172 senior pilgrims from the Bharatpur region to visit Tirupati Balaji. The Department of Temples has issued a notification regarding this. The department will arrange for the selected senior citizens to visit Tirupati under the Senior Citizen Pilgrimage Scheme. They will depart from Udaipur on a special train on February 20th.
According to the information, the train to Tirupati will depart from Sangariya station in Kota on February 20th. The train will carry 172 senior citizens from Bharatpur, Dholpur, Karauli, and Sawai Madhopur districts of the Bharatpur region for a pilgrimage. Selected pilgrims must have a hard copy of the online application form, original ID proof, Aadhaar card, two passport-sized photos, and a medical certificate. The Department of Temples will arrange for their accommodation and meals during the 7-day trip.
Assistant Commissioner of the Department of Temples, Krishna Kumar Khandelwal, stated that the pilgrimage will be organized under the Senior Citizen Pilgrimage Scheme. The selected 172 pilgrims from the Bharatpur region will be sent for darshan from the Sogariya Railway Station in Kota on February 20th. All pilgrims have been informed to reach the Sogariya Railway Station. They will be provided with ticket seat numbers and coach numbers from the Sogariya Railway Station. The Rajasthan government’s Department of Temples will handle all arrangements, including accommodation and meals, for the 7-day trip. Pilgrims must carry their daily essentials, medicines, cash for emergencies, and clothing.
